Life Groups

Life Groups | Enjoying the Journey Together

Life Groups offer a place for one to explore beliefs, find comfort, share journeys—victories and failures—at a more intimate level. People want to be known, explored, discovered and touched. Discovering each other’s unique gifts, walking in truth, learning to experience freedom in Christ, one begins to experience the mystery of Christ in you, the hope of glory!

Life Ministries desires Life Groups to be a place where Christ’s love is known, experienced and enjoyed.

  • to experientially know God more intimately
  • to enjoy His presence in community
  • to reflect Him more purely to community
  • to love each other more wholly from Christ

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

—Ephesians 3:14-19

“There are certain values I have come to greatly appreciate in the small group gatherings. The simplicity of such groups is an ideal environment for our focus to remain on the message. It is the message that excites and enthuses us, not the fact that we are doing something new or different. To appreciate Christ in one anotherto stir up faith, and demonstrate love are the reasons for us getting together.”

Celebrate Freedom | July 2014

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” —Galatians 6:1 This calls for a celebration!
Freedom Day…

Life Ministries hosted its first annual celebration of “life … and in abundance” outing! Over eighty people enjoyed life together—families, men, women and children. Skeet shooting, fishing, games, delicious BBQ, and a fireworks display created a festive atmosphere for memorable moments!

I sense God’s call to develop and participate where no one remains unknown, unexplored, undiscovered, or untouched; where we discover our true selves; where we realize that we really are passionate followers of Jesus; where people become spiritual friends.”
